They weren’t perfect, but they were perfect for each other. Or so Tessa thought. Now she’s left picking up the pieces of her shattered heart, doing the one thing she should’ve done all along, avoid the local rock god at all costs.
As Jax struggles over his decision, he prepares for the most important job of his life. Can he handle all that life is throwing at him, or will old demons return to consume him?

About the original story…
The first version of this story was write from March 2017 (published on an interactive story app in April 2017) and completed October 2017. It was 40 chapters. The second iteration of the story was 65 chapters long. I had changed and added a few things. (It only took my 6 weeks to write the first novel (and about 40k words of the second – scenes that were not written in order.) Both version were rated PG-13 (so to speak) due to the story being published in an app.
The novel versions are for mature audiences and also have some differences because I have more freedom writing novel-style.
